StarBright Talent's main goal is to help aspiring talent reach their goals by teaching, preparing, and leading them to their ultimate goal, which is to be a Bright Star!!!

Are preparation and training needed for a career in acting?

Yes, acting is a craft, an art, and a practice and the artist who undertakes this craft must approach it with dedication, focus, and a serious attitude.  As a musician must first learn about the instrument, about music theory, about music history, about composition, et cetera, so too must the actor learn his or her craft.

Can anyone learn to act?  Can acting be taught?

Yes and No.  An artist instinctively knows inside what they must do, and they know that if acting is their love and passion, they will pursue it with great force.  That being said, even the greatest of actors can always learn more about language, diction, techniques, and movement.  What cannot be taught is drive, focus, and determination.  What cannot be taught is a serious attitude.  What cannot be taught is how to be an artist.
